2026 F1 United States GP:  Weather forecast for the race weekend at Circuit of the Americas

The 2026 F1 United States GP is set to take place at the Circuit of the Americas from October 23-25. After the rain-affected race weekends in Malaysia and Singapore, drivers and teams will be greeted by dry & sunny conditions in Texas. F1 is set for hot temperatures at the Circuit of the Americas, averaging 30⁰C. The chances of precipitation are forecasted to be less than 10% for all the sessions.

Texas is the second-largest state in the USA after Alaska. Given its size and location, the weather and geographical conditions vary. The western side of it is arid, whereas the eastern side is humid. Austin is on the Eastern side of the state, sitting in a transition zone between semi-arid regions and the humid Southeast. The city averages 34-36 inches of rainfall every year.

May, June, and October are the wettest months of the season. The rainfall is caused by the proximity to the Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America). The nearest coastline is a little over 100 miles away from the city.

In the past, the Circuit of the Americas has largely been a dry race. The 2015 United States GP was the only wet race at the circuit. The precipitation was a result of the remnants of Hurricane Patricia. It forced qualifying to be postponed from Saturday to Sunday morning.

Let’s have a look at the detailed weather forecast for the 2026 United States GP.
