2026 F1 United States GP: Schedule, Timings, Where to Watch and more
The 2026 F1 United States GP is just around the corner as the team and drivers return to the North American Western Hemisphere for the next few races of the season. The race weekend will take place from October 23-25 at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
The Circuit of the Americas has been on the F1 calendar since 2012. The US GP returned to F1 in 2012 with COTA after a four-year hiatus, as it was previously held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. COTA has been on the calendar ever since, but wasn’t raced in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Lewis Hamilton has won the most United States GPs, with six wins to his name. He won the 2007 US GP at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 races at COTA. Hamilton is also the winningest driver at COTA, closely followed by Max Verstappen, who has four wins at the circuit.
Max Verstappen has been the dominant driver, winning the last couple of races in Malaysia and Singapore. Ferrari also found pace at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. George Russell will be looking to return to winning ways and have a strong final quarter. It is still mathematically possible for Russell to win the championship.
