F1 drivers drive cars worth millions of dollars on track. But they are usually car fanatics even off it. The majority of them also own very expensive machines as their toys. From legendary supercars to modern beasts, let’s discover the most expensive cars owned by F1 drivers.

The most expensive cars owned by F1 stars off the track.

Lewis Hamilton – 1995 McLaren F1

Hamilton’s car collection reportedly includes a 1995 McLaren F1 worth $20 million [€17 million]. This was the car that created the “supercar” genre, as claimed by McLaren.

The Briton also has a few Ferraris in his collection, which he bought before he ever drove for their F1 outfit. None more expensive than his Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. The road-legal supercar is estimated to have cost him somewhere close to $5 million [€4.2 million]. He also owns a Mercedes-AMG One worth $2.7 million [€2.3 million].

Max Verstappen – Aston Martin Valkyrie

The Dutchman also owns the Aston Martin supercar, which was built in partnership with Red Bull. Back when the British company was a partner of Red Bull, Adrian Newey helped design the beast.

The hybrid sports car is fitted with a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. This is reportedly the most powerful engine ever fitted in a production road car.

George Russell – Mercedes-AMG One

Russell also owns what he describes as his dream car, the Mercedes-AMG One. This was reportedly worth $3.27 million [€2.79 million]. The supercar debuted in 2022, and the German company has only planned to produce 275 units as of now.

Lando Norris – McLaren 720S

Norris owns a McLaren 720S, which is worth around $3 million [€2.5 million]. The McLaren driver also owns a Porsche Carrera GT, which is reportedly worth around $1 million [€850,000].

But the most impressive part of his car collection is a beautiful 1966 Lamborghini Miura. This vintage vehicle is worth around $1.5 million [€1.2 million] today. It is often considered to be one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. Norris reportedly bought his from UK-based Italian car dealer Joe Macari.
