Lando Norris made his F1 debut back in the 2019 season with McLaren and took the grid by storm with regular point-scoring finishes. He stayed with the team through their low points, denying a victory for a long time.
However, the team finally gained traction and Norris clinched his first win in Miami in 2024. McLaren won the Constructors’ Championship last season, and the Briton is currently a contender for the Drivers’ Championship. He has already won two races this year, with the latest one in Monaco last week. McLaren celebrated his victory, and also spotted within the crowd were his parents, Adam Norris and Cisca Wauman.
Norris isn’t their only child, however. He has three other siblings; his brother Oliver being the eldest, who had a career in karting before retiring over a decade ago.

Cisca Norris is named after her mother and is the youngest one in the house. Not a lot is known about her professional career as she usually stays out of the spotlight, but she has gained over 30k followers on Instagram.
Lando Norris reflects on his maiden Monaco GP victory
Monaco’s hometown hero Charles Leclerc was expected to clinch his second consecutive victory in the race. While he did manage to set the fastest lap right before the qualifying session ended on Saturday, Lando Norris was able to find time in the final sector and clinched pole position, setting a new lap record.
As expected, the streets of Monte Carlo made it impossible for Leclerc to make the overtake, and Norris took the top step of the podium for the first time in the principality.
“I think there were definitely some more tense moments in the race when I needed to push, and Charles was never that far behind,” Lando Norris said (via Sportskeeda). “Especially at the end with Max ahead, there were some tense moments trying not to get too close to Max, otherwise, that’s when Charles had opportunities. But I think we managed it well with the strategy.”
He added:
“I’m sure we can review things and look back on it. But in the end, the result was the perfect one. Tricky at times, with the amount of cars, there were big bunches of cars, so getting through them without making mistakes, without any silly things happening was always the most nerve-wracking bit.”
He sits in second place in the World Championship with 158 points just behind his teammate, Oscar Piastri. The battle for the championship is currently split between three drivers; the McLaren teammates and Max Verstappen.
