Fashion has become a large part of F1 in 2025. Drivers’ walks in the Paddock are no less than a fashion show, and they dress up with all kinds of accessories to highlight their attire. A large attraction of these is their wristwatches.

Time is of the utmost value in the sport. The smallest of margins can decide the fate of the championship for a team and a driver. Considering this, many luxury watch makers began investing in Formula 1, making it one of the most common appearances in the sport. The luxury Swiss brand Rolex was F1’s official timekeeper up until this season, before TAG Heuer took their place. This goes to show the huge face value these brands carry in the sport.

As mentioned, these brands also sponsor teams and drivers. Ferrari’s Richard Mille branding is quite visible on their car, alongside IWC Schaffhausen for Mercedes. These pairings have become iconic over the years. Let’s take a look at all the luxurious watches that the drivers are spotted wearing.

#1 Max Verstappen: F1’s reigning World Champion

Verstappen does not usually strike as a trendsetter on the grid. Max Verstappen usually sports his Red Bull Racing attire. However, the team’s TAG Heuer partnership does see him wearing a styled watch on some instances. While he does not wear a single model, his Monaco Skeleton and Carrera have gained quite some popularity amongst fans.

#2 Kimi Antonelli: Mercedes’ prodigy driver

Being the youngest driver on the grid does not stop Antonelli from being a subtle fashion icon on the grid. Once again, his team’s partnership with IWC Schaffhausen sees him wear some amazing watches from the Swiss luxury brand. Previously Antonelli’s teammate George Russell also sported the IWC Portugieser. He once mentioned that it was one of his favorites.

#3 Lando Norris: McLaren’s long-term partner

The 2025 World Championship contender is regularly spotted wearing Richard Mille, considering the brand is in a partnership with the Swiss brand. However, Norris is one of the few watch enthusiasts on the grid. Apart from his rose gold Daytona, he has also been seen wearing a Royal Oak Offshore Music Edition. This is a rather special one, with a unique design on the dial.

#4 Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton: Ferrari’s golden duo

Leclerc has been part of the Ferrari squad since the 2019 season, and has had a long backing from Richard Mille, which is, hence, one of his most-worn watches. However, that does not stop him from pushing all out on fashion. The Monegasque has also been spotted wearing a Nautilus Travel Time.

Lewis Hamilton is famously known as the fashionista of the F1 paddock. He wore the IWC Schaffhausen until last year, was quick to move to Mille this year as part of his Ferrari signing.
