Lewis Hamilton flaunts his extravagant $1,535,000 Richard Mille Ferrari Tourbillon at the Spanish GP

Lewis Hamilton is one of the biggest fashion influencers of all time in Formula One. His arrival at the Spanish Grand Prix media session raised eyebrows again; this time for his Richard Mille 43-01 Ferrari Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph watch. The $1,535,000 watch is one of only 75 made by the Swiss brand. Richard Mille collaborated with Ferrari to make that watch as tribute to Maranello team’s legacy.

According to the watchmaker’s website, the $1.5 Million watch also included close partnership with Audemars Piguet Le Locle – another high-end Swiss watch-making company. The RM 43-01’s manual caliber consists of 514 carefully crafted pieces. It combines a tourbillion, which is a rotating cage that helps keep the watch’s timekeeping accurate, and a split-second chronograph.

“The RM 43-01 is a true homage to Ferrari’s legacy, blending iconic design, unparalleled performance, and exclusivity into a watch that embodies complete excellence,” Richard Mille states.

Lewis Hamilton was spotted wearing this stunning timepiece during Spanish GP media day.

This isn’t the first time Lewis Hamilton has rocked up to the paddock with a nice watch. During Hamilton’s time with Mercedes, he would been seen wearing IWC watches, since the brand were partnered with the team.

The Briton’s watch collection includes IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ‘Lewis Hamilton’ Edition IW503002 which costs $59,539 (€52,600). The Ferrari star also owns a few Patek Philippe’s in his collection. One of them, a Nautilus Perpetual Calendar 5740/1G sold for approximately $260,000 (€229,599) in 2023. [Figures via IFL Watches]

Lewis Hamilton announces newest partnership of the 2025 season

In time for the Spanish Grand Prix weekend, Lewis Hamilton shared that he has partnered with Perplexity AI. The tech company is aiming to challenge Google in the search engine space, by creating one that is powered by artificial intelligence. The Ferrari driver shared the news of his tie-up with Perplexity earlier this week on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

“The smallest edge can make the biggest difference. You only find it if you ask. That’s what drew me to @perplexity_ai. Because they make finding answers effortless,” Hamilton wrote on X.

Hamilton debuted Perplexity branding on his Ferrari helmet at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix weekend. The tech company is the most recent addition to the British driver’s stable of partners. Since joining the Prancing Horse team, Lewis Hamilton has announced partnerships with athleisure brand Lululemon and online trading provider CFI.
