Liam Lawson rose to popularity in the midst of the 2023 season when Racing Bulls signed him. The New Zealander replaced Daniel Ricciardo, who suffered a crash during the Dutch GP weekend and injured himself. Lawson impressed for Red Bull’s sister team in Ricciardo’s absence. Subsequently, Liam Lawson replaced outgoing Red Bull driver Sergio Perez to partner Max Verstappen for the 2024 season.
However, his stint with the Milton Keynes-based outfit lasted just 2 races. Red Bull swapped him to their sister team whilst Yuki Tsunoda replaced him. While this was understandably a difficult time for the Kiwi driver, his partner, Hannah St. John, stood by him like a rock.
Hannah and Lawson have been dating for close to three years. Reports claim that they started dating back in 2022. Not a lot is known about the beginning of their relationship. However, they started posting pictures together on social media in early 2023, taking their relationship public.

Hannah St. John tries to keep her life very private. The 21-year-old studied as a Physician Assistant from the Corona Del Mar High School in Newport Beach, California. This was in 2021, a year before she began dating the Formula 1 driver.
Earlier in December of 2024, Hannah completed her graduation from Arizona State University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and describes herself as a “pre med” on her social media profile.

Hannah St. John has become a regular face in the F1 Paddock supporting her beau Liam Lawson. She has been with him through his highs and lows. His promotion to Red Bull Racing this season was a major achievement. However, being sent back to Racing Bulls after just two races was a tough time for him. Hannah has stayed by his side throughout these phases.
His performance in the 2025 season has been rather questionable. He retired in Australia and faced a wet track in China, which saw him finish P12. Moving back to RB after these two, he did not score any points until the Monaco Grand Prix. This was his first finish in the points in 2025, marked with an P8 finish. RB worked excellently on the strategy, making it a strong weekend for the team.
